Qantas frequent flyers have more options to redeem points in Asia under a new partnership with Philippine Airlines.
The pairing should open more availability into North America, the Middle East and 15 new island destinations which can be accessed by flying through Manila.
Figures from the Philippines Department of Tourism show the country is becoming more popular with Aussies with a 19 per cent jump in arrivals in the first quarter of this year compared to the same time last year.

Qantas and Philippine Airlines already have flights between Australia and the Philippines.
Qantas Loyalty Chief Executive Andrew Glance says the partnership will allow for more rewards seat redemptions.
“Many members want their points to take them further than just the major hubs. Partnering with Philippine Airlines opens up more of Asia and adds 15 destinations previously missing from our partner network,” he told 7NEWS.
Philippine Airlines President Richard Nuttall said the partnership creates more value for frequent flyers of both airlines.
“Together with Qantas, we are strengthening our links with Australia, making it simpler for Australians to visit the Philippines while enjoying greater choice and flexibility with their miles,” he said.
